These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website (the "Platform"), as well as your registration and participation in the event. By accessing this website, registering for the event, or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Event Registration & Ticketing

All delegates, sponsors, and speakers must register via the official portal. Ticket purchases are subject to availability and the specific cancellation and refund policies outlined at the time of purchase. GABS 2026 reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions outlined herein or any security protocols.

3. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

When using the Platform or the B2B matchmaking services, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person, or participate in any disruptive behavior.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or the networking environments.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, computer systems, or networks.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The content on the Platform, including without limitation, the text, software, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features, and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein ("Materials"), are owned by or licensed to GABS 2026, subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under Ghana, German, and foreign laws and international conventions. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or in any way exploit any of the materials or content.

5. Modifications to the Event

The organizers reserve the right to modify the event program, including but not limited to, changes to the speaker lineup, timestamps, tracks, or venue spaces. In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement of GABS 2026 due to force majeure (including but not limited to pandemics, natural disasters, or government directives), the organizers are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other related expenses incurred by participants.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GABS 2026 and its organizers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Accra, Ghana.
