Visa & Travel Information
All international participants travelling to Ghana to attend the German African Business Summit 2026 (GABS 2026) must hold a valid passport and obtain the appropriate visa prior to arrival, unless they are citizens of countries exempt under Ghana's entry regulations.
We encourage participants to apply through Ghanaian embassies or consulates in their country of residence and to do so well in advance of their travel date. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay and that you carry a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate.
All summit participants are responsible for securing their own visas for travel to Ghana. The organizers of GABS 2026 may provide supporting documents, such as an official invitation letter, to facilitate the visa application process after participant registration.
Participants who require visa-on-arrival facilitation may contact the event organizers. This service requires prior approval from the Ghana Immigration Service before travel and is subject to an administrative fee.
